samsung saturn i6500

Samsung is working on another Android-powered smartphone. It will be called Saturn i6500, and we know about that as it has recently got the WiFi interoperability certification ( PDF link ). Details are scarce at the moment, but we do know it will come with WiFi connectivity feature. In addition, we could bet, once it’s released the Saturn will run the Android 2.0 Eclair and will most probably rely on an 800 MHz CPU. Moreover, it’s safe the specs sheet will include a GPS, HSPA radio, Bluetooth and a microSD memory card slot. We’ve heard the Korean giant will launch the device at some point next year with estimated retail price of about 300 EUR, which is roughly $442. I’m guessing we’ll get all the details before or during the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, which takes place in February. Stay tuned… Taken from : http://www.intomobile.com/2009/11/02/android-powered-samsung-saturn-i6500-in-works.html Samsung I6500 Saturn is a Bar Phone weighing 0g. It´s dimension

Tiruvarur Manuneethi Cholan History

A young Chola Prince son of king Manuneethi Cholan went around the city by a chariot. The people of the city gave him a warm welcome by beating drums and pipes. A calf threatened by hearing this huge sound, jumped and ran here and there. Finally it had fallen down under the wheel of the Prince’s chariot. The wheel had crushed the calf. King Manuneethi Cholan came to know, that the carelessness of his son has caused the death of the calf. So, he wanted to punish his son for the convict of the calf’s murder. He killed his son by the same manner how the calf was killed. This can be referred in Cillappathikaram

Tiruvarur Big Temple

The temple is gigantic in structure. From a distance of miles the gopurams are visible. It is a great pilgrim centre, through out the year, particularly in the month of Chittirai when the most important festival, the annual festival of Sri Thiyagaraja is performed. There are four gopurams on four sides. The tower on the west is particularly noteworthy for the fine sculpture in brick and mortar. The colossal structure of the temple could be well imagined from its length of 846 feet with breadth of 666 feet. There are several tanks attached as an adjunct to the temple wherein devout pilgrims take their bath before entering into the precincts of the temple. On the western side of the temple there is a famous tank known as Kamalalayam where Goddess Kamala (Lakshmi) took her birth. It is considered to be the biggest tank in the whole of South India, having an island temple in the middle dedicated to the Goddess. She was born with the nectar during the course of churning of the Milky Ocean by

Tiruvarur Central University

The Central University of Tamil Nadu was established by an Act of Parliament (no 25 of 2009, 20/03.2009). The University is located at Tiruvarur, headquarters of the District in the heart of the great Chola Empire. Preliminary work on establishing the University has resulted in the tentative identification of about 500 acres of land in two revenue villages (see annexure and map). The Government of Tamil Nadu has assured that a multi-storey building (GF plus three floors) measuring about 55000 plus square feet will be made available for a temporary campus for launching academic programmes and planning for campus development in due course (details of the building annexed). Continuous interaction with the administration both at the district and state level indicates substantial movement in issuance of a formal order in this regard. As an interim measure the vice chancellor and his single person staff (at a very junior office assistant level) is operating out of two small rooms in the PWD
